New Year... New adventures await us... Lets focus on the last year!

9 months Pregnant

It's now 2011... Where the hell did 2010 go I mean really I can't believe how fast this year has just flown by. Its hard for me to think that this time last year I was 4 weeks away from having my baby girl. I was soo ready to be done and so ready to Pop. As we axiously await our precious baby girls arrival I became more and more anxious about becoming a new mommy. I did know anything about being a mom or how to take car of this little baby, but as we know you can't just put it all back and forget you ever got pregnant. So on February 5, 2010 I was induced and after a fairly easy delivery we had out angel. 10 fingers and 10 small toes she was 6 lbs 1 oz 20 inches long and perfect.

Our little Jadabug is so smart she has accomplished so much in her first year of life and it has been amazing to watch her grow and learn and develope.

In the last year we have watched Jayden, master tummy time ( I tell you how important tummy time is) move on to what I called the army scoot or stink bug crawl :) quickly she went from that to crawling and I swear she only crawled for like 1 1/2 months then moved on to master walking which quickly turned into running. During all of this development she also said her first words (mommy and dadda of course) she now says thank you and goggie :) she also decided she wanted teeth all at once and cut 5 teeth all within a day or so... Talk about painful. She is also getting the hang of feeding herself although she thinks its so funny to feed the dogs so she gives them more then she eats...

Our first Christmas as a family. Jayden got more toys then she knows what to do with, but some of her favorites are her babies of course which she now carries around with her, and her big ball pit which currently has more babies and other toys in it then balls but that is ok she loves it. Right now the only thing she loves more then all her toys is her bath time :) she gets so excited to see the bubbles and water.

And now that she has teeth we are beginning the fun phase of brushing her teeth and teaching her she can not bite people. Thats been fun, but after me biting her back she has not bit me again so maybe it really did work. But dang her little teeth are sharp.

It has been an amazing but busy year with Jayden. Me and James have been busy also, we got married this year September 25, 2010. We went on a fantastic honeymoon to San Fransisco it was so much fun and nice to get away just the 2 of us. Then I jumped feet first into my new obsession Bootcamp with Jess, a military style 6 week kick your ass workout program and it has changed no only my life but my moms, husbands, brothers, and 2 good friends lives as well. I will fit into size 9 jeans next year and I plan to run marathons this fall :) We have also made a big choice that we will start trying for baby #2 either Zoey Nicole or Braxton Wayne this summer and we are both excited for our family to continue to grow.

Jayden's took her first steps

Last week on November 3, 2010, 2 days before Jayden turned 9 months old, she took her first steps... Such an amazing day. Me and your grandma were at Bootcamp and you walked from your grandma to mommy and back to grandma. I can't believe you took your first steps already. Such a smart little girl we have... Now comes the fun stages of this age trying to keep up with you is a challenge, and keeping the house baby proofed.

Other accomplishments, You have learned how to open the screen door by yourself and now love to sit out on the patio playing with the leaves and watching the trees move. Its fun to just sit and watch how content you are sitting out there... and how pissed you get when we make you come in because its to cold. Your are now attempting to feed yourself, ha ha that is such a mess but your learning.

We went to your 9 month appt last week and you are getting sooo tall 29 1/4 inches long in the 90%  and weigh 20.15 lbs in the 80% which is perfect so far your growing like a weed :)

It has been a busy 2 months

It has been a busy 2 months for my family... Since Jayden is the love of my life we will start with her.
Jayden is 8 months old today and even though we are not with her (we are in San Fran on our honeymoon more to come on that later) I know she will be so excited when we get home and give her the gifts we got her and give her all the loves to make up for the week that we have been gone.
Anyway back to Jayden, she is sooo smart I can't even handle it. She has gone from being able to sit on her own a big acomplishment, to meeting the big milestone of Crawling :) im so proud of her... Now for all the small details I noticed she wasn't as happy being held anymore so I bought her a bunch of new toys (yes she is spoiled its ok) you know the ones that encourage crawling and moving around ya all the good ones for a 6 mo old... So she started getting curious and next thing we know she is getting up on both hands and knees and started "the rocking" motion, she would rock forward and then face plant it cause she couldnt get that she needs to lift one arm at a time... But since my little one is sooo smart she only did this for about a week before she got the whole concept of crawling and over the last 3 weeks she has mastered it...
Other things she has mastered... she now pulls herself up on EVERYTHING its great she is learning but not so great to baby proof the house. She also has begun to have a good appetite and will eat just about everything we have tried to give her. She is defenetly my kid because she LOVES her veggies. Currently Squash and pickles are her favorites. Surprisingly she enjoys lemons as well... just talking about it gives me a puckered face but she seems to love them.
Well I believe thats all the updates on Jayden, other than she is just growing soo fast already in 12 mo PJ's she is gonna be super tall. I love her so much and I can't wait to watch her contnue to grow and learn :)

He. Went. To. Shane Co :}

So after a year of saying no to James I finally said yes to marriage. I dont know what changed in me or why I changed my mind but after spending the 24th of July with him and seeing him with his family something changed in me and I realized that this was the man I wanted to spend the rest of my life with...

We went shopping for a ring and picked out one I really loved, and later that week he took me to the park where we had our 2nd date and after a picnic type dinner we went for a walk around the park and thats when James gets down on one knee and asks me "to make him the happiest man ever and spend the rest of our lives together" I tear up and of course say "YES".

We set a date and silly me I think to myself we have a trip already planned for the end of September so why not just make that our honeymoon... and the wedding date is set September 25, 2010. That is only 8 weeks away... What crazy person tries to plan a wedding in 8 weeks... Ha Ha I guess I am that crazy person cause we're doin it.

Wahoo we made it

After 4 months of forced tummy time (ya I said forced and that is because my daughter HATES being on her tummy) We may not have to force her anymore because today Jayden Rose made a huge accomplishment... she has mastered rolling over both ways :) we are so excited for her to meet this accomplishment such a big milestone. And she doesn't even freak out... well she doesn't freak out as much anyway YAY! We are excited to continue to watch her grow and develope...

DUN DUN DUN now comes the crawling... Not so sure if we are ready for this milestone.

4 months since the biggest adventure started

It's been awhile but I figure maybe its time to blog about all the changes since Easter...

Well Jayden's 4 month Dr. appt was last week and she is growing like a weed (as so many of my older patients like to say) she's 25 1/4 inches tall and weighs 14lbs 9 oz already. Its crazy how big she is I think she is gonna be tall like her daddy and I'm ok with that cause im short... She is growing out of all of her PJ's I finally got smart and instead of buying more 3-6 months I bought 6-9 and sadly she is almost long enough for them :( makes me sad! Finally she is sleeping through the night YAY!!! She will sleep from 10 pm -8 am HELL YA I love it...

Jayden recently started eating actual baby food and like her momma she loves her veggies Thanks goodness... Squash is currently her favorite... and tonight she grabbed the spoon and tried to feed herself needless to say this was a messy process but she was able to get the spoon to her mouth and kinda got some cereal in her mouth ha ha she's so independent just like momma. We are still working on rolling over she HATES being on her tummy but im such a mean mommy and I make her do her tummy time every day so someday soon she will be crawling and getting into EVERYTHING im sure :). And as with all babies her age she puts everything in her mouth SOOOO i guess that means I need to start baby proofing my house UGH!!!

We took Jaydabug swimming for the first time this month and she absolutely loved it she is such a fish we spent a good 45 min in there before I got BORED and was ready to get out :)

She just loves her new toys... such a spoled baby girl but hey it keeps her entertained which makes us happy

Anyway so much continues to change as we continue on this adventure of life :)

HaPpY EaStEr JaYdEn

My Jadabugs first easter was so great... We spent the day together as a family Easter breakfast then it was time to come home and do Easter from the Easter bunny, Jadyen loves her new Bumbo and its going to make her so strong and she is gonna be sitting up like a big girl so soon. And the super cute outfits mommy picked out and 2 books to help you to become so smart just like your momma, and a lullaby stuffed animal to snuggle with at night... I hope this helps you sleep. Thank you to my hubby to be for making today perfect.... I love our new family so many firsts to come this year.

I cant believe it but my Jayden is 2 months old already... so much has changed already so fast... Your getting so big and changing so fast... Yesterday was a big day for us you started smiling so much more over these last couple days but you were playing with uncle Brandon at grandmas house and out of nowhere you laughed it was so fun to see your first laugh its so cute... Im loving the personality your starting to develope. Your amazing baby girl Momma loves you
